Coach Williams opened the meeting.  Jodi Phillips, the DOC Treasurer, stated that the current bank balance is $x,xxx.xx and the petty cash balance is $xxx.xx.  It was voted on and approved to pay Sam’s Club for the membership dues of $xx and Kessler’s Sporting Goods invoice of $xxx.  Also, the club voted to reimburse Coach Williams $xxx.xx for the raffle tickets purchase and $xx.xx for the Boston Butt Dinner supplies.  There was 90 tickets sold from the raffle fundraiser. 

 

Jodi gave out a Dugout Club Budget Projection printout.  The club discussed the amounts that each fundraiser raised and the amounts of the expenses that each fundraiser incurred.
Also, discussed were the expenses that the Club pays.

 

Letterman’s jacket money was received by Mark English, TJ English, and Ben Cone.

 

Chris Daniel purchased an advertising sign for his new business for $xxx.xx.

 

An update was given by the Building Committee members.  A recent meeting was held with Dr. Truby, the LCSS, in attendance.  Funding possibilities and details were discussed at the meeting.

 

The Boston Butt tickets are due to be turned-in November 10.  The cooking dates are November 19th-22nd.  Pickup dates are November 21st and 22nd at the Concession Stand at the Middle School.  Danny Turner, DOC President, will check on the availability of the Garden Patch Cooker. The Boston Butt Cooking plans were finalized.

 

The raffle ticket drawing for the tickets to the UGA-Tecg Game was held, and the meeting was adjourned to enjoy the Boston Butt Dinner that was prepared by John Bittner.  The next meeting was set for December 4th at 7:00 at the Middle School Cafeteria.
