COACHES - Middle School Head Coach Jay Davis
Jay Davis enters his 15th year at Lamar County. He is also in his 10th year as the Middle School Head Baseball Coach. Jay graduated high school in 1982 from Cedar Shoals, in Athens, GA. After high school, Coach Davis attended Gordon College here in Barnesville where he pitched for the Highlanders. He played from 1982-1984 at Gordon College and transferred to the University of Georgia following his sophomore season. Jay is a "proud" graduate from the University of Georgia where he earned his teaching degree in 1987.
Coach Davis is married to Pippa Lee Davis. They have two children Jackson and Pippin.
